Chestnut Season has started!
This Autumn, Rivea London devotes its kitchen to the chestnut, creating a dedicated menu to celebrate the earthy flavours and unexpected variety of this treasured produce. Signalling the start of the season, the menu also pays homage to the Riviera's annual autumn festivals - a chance for the community to come together in celebration of the year's successful harvest.
Alexandre Nicolas, Executive Chef and protégé of Alain Ducasse, has created a 4-course menu to showcase this versatile ingredient. Running until 15 November, the menu will include dishes like Chestnut velouté with roasted butternut, or Seared scallops with pumpkin, chestnut and hazelnut. A glass of Lirac, La Reine des Bois, Domaine de la Mordorée, 2014, has been carefully selected to complement the menu.
